A National Dialogue about gender and development within the project: “CONNECT! East/South/West Women for development”A National Dialogue was held in Sofia on February 7th, 2011 about gender and development within the project: “CONNECT! East/South/West Women for development”. It was organized by Gender, Education, Research and Technologies Foundation (GERT). As a co-organizer, Gender Project for Bulgaria Foundation representative presented the topic “Gender Equality and Women’s Rights in the Development Cooperation - the Global Aspect”.

It is our pleasure to inform all our partners that the Board Chair of the Bulgarian Fund for Women Stanimira Hadjimitova has been selected among more than 100 nominations to be portrayed in the Calendar 2011 “Women Inspiring Europe” of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). EIGE’s aim is to make visible some outstanding European women and their achievements as a source of inspiration for others.
